Partnerships

Local Public Dispatch considers collaborations that serve readers interested in public information and its presentation, while keeping editorial work distinct from partner interests.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly scoped educational projects, reader resources, event or series collaborations and relevant partner placements. A proposal should explain its purpose, intended audience, format, timing and what each party would contribute.

Partner placements

Relevant partner links or placements may appear in designated areas of the site when they fit the publication's subject and can be described accurately. Inclusion is not an endorsement, and placements are labelled plainly where they appear.

Editorial boundaries

Partners cannot purchase favourable editorial coverage or determine independent conclusions. We may decline proposals that do not fit the subject, obscure their purpose or make claims that cannot be presented responsibly. Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the partnership option.

Our point of view

Clarity starts with the document

We look closely at how public information is put together, so readers can follow what it says without mistaking a notice for a decision or a summary for the full record.
